| Kent has over 30 years of engineering and management experience in the telecommunications industry, including five long-term international assignments. He spent nearly 20 years managing all aspects of technical publications and training materials for AT&T/Lucent’s increasingly global products and services. Since retiring from AT&T in 1996, he has held key roles in a variety of enterprise-oriented technology companies. Kent is a long-time advocate and early adopter of large-scale machine translation, computer-assisted learning concepts, and the application of SGML, XML, and related concepts to address the challenges of large-scale information development. |
